Georgia Sunshine Village is run by Leonard and Georgia Hatherell. The homestay opened in May 2000. It is a family-run place for guests who want peace, quiet, and a little solitude. The team is drawn from the villages around us. Food is cooked with the care you would expect at a family table — veg and non-veg, served at set hours.
The village sits among hills, farms, and open space: a pool, a shack under a tiled roof, walks through farmland, and evenings by the fire. That is why we call it a homestay with a difference.
Tripadvisor has recognised the village since 2012. Come with your partner, your family, or your pet — we will set the table and leave you room to slow down.

Our Pets
Bagheera, Chester, Cookie, Destiny, Elsa, Max, Mia, Hope, Lucky, Patch, Roxy, Rusty, and Zoey live here — we rescued and adopted them — along with farm birds and ducks. You are welcome to bring your own companion. Please read our pet policy before you book, and send a written confirmation by email before the booking is confirmed.
